Ryan Pinto, PT
MPT PhD, MSc, BSc

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2013. He then pursued a Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University, graduating in 2016. During this time, he conducted research in the Wolf Orthopaedic Biomechanics Lab and contributed to advancements at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. Combining his passions for research and rehabilitation, Ryan completed his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Western University in 2021 while simultaneously earning his PhD, where he studied risk factors and treatments for patients with knee osteoarthritis.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Ryan discovered rugby in 2004 and quickly embraced the sport. He played varsity men's rugby for the University of Waterloo and competed with the Waterloo County Men's Rugby team until 2019.
​
Professionally, Ryan has achieved his Level 4 Manual Therapy certification and is working towards becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Therapists (FCAMPT). He is also certified GLA:D Canada Clinician, with a special interest in evidence-based exercise and education programs for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis.

In his free time, he loves to stay active through activities such as golf, hiking, biking, or going to the gym.
