Ryan Pinto, PT
MPT PhD, MSc, BSc

Ryan completed his BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2013. He then completed his MSc in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University in 2016 working in the Wolf Orthopaedic Biomechanics Lab and in the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic.
Ryan pursued his two passions for research and rehabilitation by completing his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Western University in 2021 while also completing his PhD researching various risk factors and treatments for patients with knee osteoarthritis.

Ryan has completed his Level 3 Manual Therapy certifications with the goal of becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) designation over the next few years. He is also a certified GLA:D Canada Clinician, focusing on targeted exercise and education programs for patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Ryan has been involved in sports throughout his life starting from a young age and found rugby in 2004. He went on to play varsity Men’s Rugby for the University of Waterloo in addition to playing for the Waterloo County Men’s Rugby team until 2019. In his free time, he loves to stay active through activities such as golf, hiking, biking, or going to the gym.
