Atmaja graduated with a Bachelors in Physiotherapy from G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, India in 2015. She then earned a Masters degree from Massachusetts General Institute, Boston in 2017 and a Doctorate in Physical therapy degree from Touro College, New York in 2020.
Prior to relocating to Canada, Atmaja worked as a licensed physical therapist in the United States for 7 years and treated a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in treating injuries in the athletic population. Through her work experience, Atmaja has gained experience in treating runners, hikers and skiers.
Atmaja strives for a patient-centered approach, working closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals. Drawing on expertise in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and evidence-based techniques, she ensures that each patient receives the highest standard of care.
She has attained several certifications such as dry needling, Graston technique for soft tissue mobilization, vestibular and concussion management and a teachers training course in Yoga and plans on pursuing further certifications in running assessment, bike fitting and Pilates treatment.
Atmaja is a mom to a one year old girl, and in her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, hiking and cooking different cuisines.
