Angela graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2007. She completed an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology and minored in Rehabilitation Sciences. She worked at Fowler Kennedy Sport's Medicine Centre on campus and developed an interest in sports medicine side of physiotherapy.

Angela went on to complete her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2009. In addition to sports medicine, she has always enjoyed working with kids and did a lot of work with the pediatric and neuro population, including her research in congenital muscular tortocollis while at Queen’s. (Published in 2010 in Pediatric Physical Therapy). Ultimately she decided on a career in sports medicine and came to work at WSM RIM Park in September 2009.

Angela values continuing education and has completed many courses over the years in acupuncture, manual therapy, taping, myofascial release, and many other body part specific courses.

​

Angela has always enjoyed a variety of sports and continues to run, play soccer, and strength train in her free time. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her husband and son.
